Thank you for your interest in writing your thesis at the chair of Prof. Dr. Christoph Lechner.
The next application deadline is on 19.05.2026 .
Your application should include the following documents:
- Letter of motivation
- Curriculum vitae
- Current transcript of grades
- Optional exposé, if you would like to propose your own topic
Please note that you should plan to submit your thesis no later than 6 months after your application. In case you consider applying for a Master Thesis supervision, please note that we only accept applications from the M.A. program “Master in General Management” (MGM).
We thank you for your understanding that we cannot consider applications that do not meet the criteria outlined above or lack the aforementioned documents.

Unfortunately, we currently have no remaining capacity for the supervision of bachelor’s or master’s theses. From calendar week 8 2026 onwards, we will publish new topics on this page. We kindly ask you to refrain from applications until then. Thank you for your understanding.
Please make sure to follow the guidelines outlined in the document “Specifications_Theses” when submitting your application. Applications can only be considered if they include a motivation letter, a current CV, and a transcript of records. Additionally, you should plan to submit your thesis within six months of your application date.
Due to the high number of applications, we are unfortunately unable to accept all requests. Selection is based on the submitted documents.
