Bachelor and Master Theses

At the IfB, students can write bachelor and master papers on relevant topics. Current research topics often form the starting point for papers at bachelor and master level. All topics are characterized by a high relevance for science and practice. Some of the papers are also written in direct cooperation with companies. Therefore, we are open to proposals for writing degree papers with suitable topic in companies. Feel free to contact us if you have a question or are interested in a specific topic.

We appreciate your interest in writing your thesis at the chair of Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger.

Unfortunately, we currently have no remaining capacity for the supervision of bachelor’s or master’s theses. From calendar week 8 2023 onwards, we will publish new topics on this page. We kindly ask you to refrain from applications until then. Thank you for your understanding.

When contacting us, please strictly follow the guidelines for application and thesis supervision outlined in the document “Specifications_Theses”. Thank you for your understanding that we cannot consider applications without a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, and up-to-date transcript of records. Furthermore, at the time of application, you should plan to submit the thesis no more than 6 months later. Due to the large number of interested students, we are unfortunately not able to accept all applications; the selection will be based on the submitted application documents.

Please direct your inquieries regarding final theses at the chair of Prof. Frankenberger to Christina Frei-Reber, Personal Assistant Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger.

We look forward to hearing from you.
